Job summary

Stryten Energy seeks an experienced Engineering leader to head the Electronic Product Engineering group, overseeing Lithium Battery development, Battery Charger development and Software development. You will drive delivery for energy storage and management solutions across multiple markets and build strong engineering processes while reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical related field required; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• MBA in related field preferred.
• 15+ years of previous Product Development, Engineering Leadership and Project Management experience is required.
• Previous cross-functional experience in Manufacturing and Engineering preferred.
• Previous experience in developing and launching products is required.

Responsibilities

• Drives delivery of new products in line with business needs and the strategic business plan.
• Drives delivery of Engineering designs for Engineer to Order customer solutions.
• Responsible for departmental budget planning and execution of spending to budget to achieve business needs.
• Collaborate with the Product Management team to help define new product opportunities and develop market-aligned products focusing on manufacturing feasibility and cost.
• Effectively communicate to higher level leadership team on status of projects and product developments.
• Develop, Deploy and Manage Standardized Design Processes
• Conduct post-mortem analysis of closed projects and adopt best practices and lessons learned.
• Lead and monitor resolution efforts on complex issues where analysis requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Develop relationships with local plant teams, functional leaders, VPs, etc. to ensure smooth progression of projects and initiatives.
