Deutsche Bank AG in New York City or Washington DC seeks a Senior Counsel for Legal eDiscovery (Vice President) to advise on eDiscovery and data governance across the firm, coordinating with global Legal Dept, TDI and external partners.

You will guide collection, review, production, legal holds and privacy considerations, with emphasis on early case assessment, budgeting and defensible data handling in a fast-paced global bank.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar and eligible to practice as in-house counsel.
• Experience advising on eDiscovery in large law firms or in-house.
• Strong judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage complex matters in a global bank context.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled discovery tools and privacy considerations.

Responsabilités

• Provide practical and strategic guidance on eDiscovery requirements and issues to internal teams and global legal staff.
• Collaborate with TDI and records management on legal holds and data preservation.
• Coordinate with external counsel and vendors on collection, search, review, and production.
• Manage vendor pricing, contracts, and develop playbooks for eDiscovery.
• Advise on defensibility for new data types and systems in cross-border matters.
• Support data retention, disposal, and transfer workflows related to eDiscovery.
