Job summary

E-Frontiers is seeking a Workout Credit Officer (VP) to lead a portfolio of distressed and underperforming loans in New York, with emphasis on commercial real estate and leveraged finance exposures. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, workout, restructuring, or distressed asset management.
• Strong technical grounding in commercial real estate and/or leveraged finance credit.
• Hands-on experience with insolvency proceedings, restructurings, and exit financing.
• Sharp analytical instincts paired with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities

• Present recommendations and portfolio updates to senior leadership.
• Partner closely with legal, risk, and senior credit teams to negotiate favorable outcomes for the bank.
• Lead borrowers and internal stakeholders through insolvency proceedings and Chapter 11 exit financing structures.
• Develop and execute workout and recovery strategies, including loan restructurings, covenant renegotiations, and collateral repositioning.
• Manage a portfolio of distressed and underperforming loans, with a focus on commercial real estate and leveraged finance exposures.
