Job summary

CoreWise Workforce Strategy Partners is conducting a confidential search for a senior supply chain leader to own procurement, sourcing, planning, inventory, warehousing and logistics. You will own the results behind them in a hands-on executive role.

This is an on-site role in South Louisiana requiring 10+ years in manufacturing supply chain with 5+ years in leadership, across procurement and planning. APICS/CPSM or Six Sigma credentials are a plus; a bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing supply chain with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience across procurement, planning, and the financial impact of the function.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and cost reductions.
• Bachelor's degree required; professional credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hold suppliers to measurable commitments and intervene quickly when performance risks production.
• Lead strategic sourcing, cost reduction, negotiations, and commercial terms.
• Reduce single-source exposure and strengthen supply continuity.
• Improve planning across demand, purchasing, inventory and production.
• Build a deliberate inventory and working capital strategy.
• Establish reporting, accountability and cadence to scale the function.
• Partner across the business when specs, timing, cost, or constraints require a decision.
• Lead and develop the supply chain team.
