Job summary

Data Based Development Systems is seeking a senior Supply Chain leader to oversee end-to-end procurement, logistics, and subcontracting operations in the continental US. The role directs managers across purchasing, warehouse, and subcontracting to implement company policies and ensure best-value sourcing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or related Government contracting experience preferred.
• 15+ years in Supply Chain Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Thorough understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations, contract law, price and cost analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Directs procurement of materials, equipment, supplies, and services through Purchasing and Subcontracting managers.
• Directs warehouse and shipping activities through the Warehouse Manager.
• Ensures procurement compliance with FAR/DFARS and corporate policies.
• negotiates and supervises complex procurements beyond Purchasing Manager’s authority.
• Manages supplier evaluations and bid awards.
• Maintains supplier relationships for best value and ethics.
• Coordinates with Finance, Contracts and Operations; occasional travel may be required.
