Job summary

Citizens seeks a Vice President/Director on the Data Center team within Leveraged Finance to lead credit underwriting, monitoring, and portfolio management of Data Center relationships. You will apply rigorous financial analysis, ensure credit policy adherence, and manage risk across complex transactions.

Qualifications

• 7+ (VP) or 10+ (Director) years of commercial credit experience primarily in Commercial Real Estate.
• Prior Digital Infrastructure and Project Finance experience preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and credit structuring abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Portfolio management experience including proposing credit and covenant structures.
• Ability to interpret property, guarantor and sponsor financial performance and assess risk.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage with customers directly and accompany relationship managers on client visits.
• Analytical thinking with ability to link issues to actions ensuring policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite credit and manage risk with adherence to policy and requirements.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers on memos, research, and financial modeling.
• Structure, underwrite, and document new business, renewals and modifications.
• Oversee portfolio and anticipate problems; meet deadlines and maintain compliance.
• Provide client management support with direct interaction to resolve complex credit monitoring issues.
• Track key lease metrics, obligations, and critical dates.
• Own data center colocation agreement requirements.
• Drive process improvements and implementations.
• Mentor junior associates and analysts.
