Job summary

The Barton Partnership, on behalf of a major large-cap digital infrastructure fund, seeks a Vice President for its New York City investment team. The role leads investments across data center and hyperscale assets and builds advanced financial models to support execution.

Responsibilities include leading due diligence, structuring and negotiations, and partnering with management teams and operating partners to drive value and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in TMT private equity or digital infrastructure investing.
• Experience specifically in data centers, cloud infrastructure and fiber.
• Strong transaction experience with increasing ownership of deal execution.
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities.
• Leadership in managing workstreams and junior talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and execution of investments across data center and hyperscale assets.
• Build and review complex financial models and valuation analyses.
• Drive due diligence, transaction structuring and negotiations.
• Partner with management teams and operating partners on value creation initiatives.
