Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a transformative VP for DEVOPS & CMO Digital & Tech to drive the integrated strategy across Tech, Digital, Data and Analytics within R&D. You will lead cross-functional teams, aligning clinical, regulatory and quality systems on a common platform to accelerate medicines and vaccines.

You will direct DevSecOps, cloud adoption, and data-driven transformation, partnering with enterprise AI to unlock value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific discipline.
15+ years of experience in a Pharmaceutical technology environment.
Experience in software engineering at a leading biopharma, cloud, or technology SaaS company.
Experience with modern technology and cloud systems, and systems and technology relevant to business domain.
Experience with modern design techniques, data governance, information security, and data privacy.
Experience working in regulated environments with compliance requirements related to GxP, data integrity, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

Single point of accountability for DEVOPS/CMO Digital & Tech leadership across global operations.
Leads technology, data, and analytics strategy development in collaboration with business areas.
Partners with R&D leadership to calculate ROI for technology investments and enable prioritization.
Drives digital experiments and product-oriented thinking with agile delivery and value increments.
Ensures IT security, compliance, and scalable, resilient tech platforms across medicines and vaccines.
