Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a VP, Chief Enterprise Architect to set a vision for enterprise-wide architecture and guide digital and AI-enabled transformation at the highest level. You will translate emerging technologies into scalable, secure capabilities across a highly regulated global organization.

You will drive target-state architecture across digital, data, AI, cloud, and core platforms, aligning investments with KPIs and measurable outcomes while influencing senior business and technology

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Significant enterprise architecture leadership experience.
• Experience in global, highly regulated environments such as bio-pharma or life sciences.
• Demonstrated ownership of enterprise-wide digital and AI transformation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead a multi-year enterprise architecture strategy aligned to growth, AI scale, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish a target-state architecture and phased transformation roadmap across global business units.
• Design the enterprise AI and data platform architecture for AI-at-scale across functions.
• Set standards for responsible AI, model governance, data interoperability, and secure AI deployment in regulated environments.
• Advise senior leaders, translating complex challenges into actionable roadmaps tied to measurable outcomes.
• Lead architecture governance balancing innovation with security and compliance.
