Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a strategic Product Manager to lead the digital deposit portfolio (savings, money market, CDs) across web and mobile. You will define the product vision, build multi-year roadmaps, and partner with SI, Pricing, CX, and Marketing to drive innovation and measurable outcomes.

You will own KPIs, conduct competitive analysis, and translate data into actionable backlog priorities while aligning engineering, UX, data science, compliance, and risk teams to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in consumer banking, fintech, or digital financial services.
• Ability to travel – 20%.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams.
• Strong relationships and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical skills and digital technology understanding.
• Knowledge of deposit products and related regulatory landscape (Reg D, Reg E, FDIC).
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end digital experiences on web and mobile.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar).
• Customer-oriented with focus on UX/UI quality.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for digital deposit acquisition, onboarding, and servicing experiences.
• Own annual strategy planning and roadmap whitepaper with external benchmarking.
• Partner with Consumer Bank SI, Pricing, CX, and Marketing to drive innovative product management.
• Monitor and measure product metrics and KPIs to define success and prioritize capabilities.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to identify whitespace opportunities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, UX/Design, Data Science, Compliance, Legal, Fraud, and Operations to deliver releases.
• Shape product backlog with Marketing to plan go-to-market and adoption campaigns.
• Manage vendor and third-party relationships where applicable.
