Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a qualified accessibility-focused professional to lead and implement accessible software solutions. The role emphasizes knowledge of WCAG standards, ARIA usage, and inclusive customer experiences across projects in a large enterprise.

You will collaborate with developers, designers, and QA to embed accessible practices from requirements through deployment, and you will help mature the organization’s accessibility program with scalable testing and training initiatives.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Engineering, or related field.
3 years of experience in IT or related occupation.
Experience across the full SDLC with accessibility requirements.
Experience delivering accessible and compliant software solutions.

Responsibilities

Promote accessibility within the organization as part of the customer experience.
Review wireframes/designs and provide accessibility feedback.
Update company standards through research and evolving trends.
Stay ahead of emerging standards and analyze impacts to policies.
Challenge existing accessibility practices and automate processes where possible.
Educate clients on WCAG 2.x requirements and accessibility best practices.
Gather information to create and deliver accessibility training for teams.
Deliver accessible digital products that maintain compliance while ensuring excellent UX.
Build relationships to mature accessibility programs across stakeholders.
Update accessibility documentation for broad audiences.
Contribute to scalable accessibility testing standards across the organization.
