Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a strategic leader to oversee Development Operations, guiding governance, reporting, and processes across the multifamily platform. The role partners with Design, Construction, Finance, Legal, HR, and Technology to ensure efficient, transparent development execution.

You will drive investment committee excellence, oversee key dashboards, and lead organizational capability-building initiatives, shaping growth and capital allocation across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in real estate development, development operations, investment underwriting, or related leadership roles.
• Significant experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing complex stakeholder groups.
• Strong knowledge of development underwriting, governance, investment committee processes, and pipelines.
• Experience managing budgets, operational planning, and organizational performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead development governance with tools, policies, approval frameworks, and decision-making processes.
• Oversee governance and management of investment approval processes and related materials.
• Build operational excellence across the development organization to improve efficiency and cycle times.
• Design scalable development processes and workflows; implement standardized templates and dashboards.
• Leverage analytics to improve decision-making and reporting; drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee executive and public reporting for leadership, governance committees, and disclosures.
• Lead talent development and growth within Development teams, including onboarding and training.
