Job summary

Tapestry is seeking a Vice President, Deputy General Counsel to join the Office of the Legal Department. This is a high-impact, senior leadership role overseeing North America litigation, employment law, and investigations, with responsibility for regulatory matters and enterprise ethics and compliance.

You will lead a team of attorneys and professionals, partnering with the CLO and senior management to mitigate risk and drive a proactive legal culture across a lean organization.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the New York State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 15 years of legal experience focusing on litigation, investigations, and compliance.
• Significant senior in-house leadership experience.
• Experience across all phases of litigation including trial preparation.
• Strong employment law advisory capabilities.
• Experience coordinating cross-border investigations and data privacy issues.
• Leadership of ethics and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead North America litigation and disputes management.
• Coordinate cross-border investigations and regulatory responses.
• Oversee enterprise ethics and compliance program; report to CLO and senior management.
• Partner with operations and business teams on strategic and day-to-day legal matters.
• Develop and mentor legal professionals; manage external counsel.
• Ensure risk management and governance across the legal function.
