Tapestry, Inc. is seeking an experienced in-house litigator to provide strategic legal advice across a broad range of disputes including regulatory, employment, privacy, commercial, IP, brand protection and personal injury litigation.

The role supports a positive, compliant workplace culture while collaborating with outside counsel and internal partners. The ideal candidate has a robust litigation background, experience with compliance and internal investigations, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in litigation, in-house, law firm or government.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of New York or eligibility to apply.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts for business teams.
• Capable of independent work and handling multiple priorities.
• Collaborative and able to exercise independent judgment.
• Willing to advise on a wide variety of substantive areas.

Responsibilities

• Guide outside counsel and align litigation with company objectives.
• Manage litigation across regulatory, employment, IP, and privacy areas.
• Advise business units on exposure and litigation strategy.
• Represent the company in administrative, court, arbitration and mediation proceedings.
• Prepare and review legal documents and settlements.
• Coordinate discovery, preservation and eDiscovery processes.
• Monitor legal trends and support cross-functional initiatives.
