Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Business and Data Analyst - Vice President to join enterprise data office and product solution team. You will ensure accurate, timely data for business, risk, and regulatory reporting, collaborating across Markets, Risk, Finance, Tech, and Data Engineering.

You will document data flows, map transformations, and lead end-to-end data governance initiatives, identifying gaps and driving remediation while delivering detailed requirements and dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of combined experience in banking and financial services, information technology and/or data controls and governance.
• Extensive capital markets knowledge with Derivatives and SFT data.
• Strong ability to identify data gaps and design governance controls.
• Experience designing dashboards and variance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Understand Derivatives and SFT data flows within Citi
• Data analysis for derivatives products across systems for target state adoption and resolution of data gaps/issues
• Lead assessment of end-to-end data flows for all data elements used in Regulatory Reports
• Document current and target states data mapping and produce gap assessment
• Coordinate with the business to identify critical data elements and define standards
• Identify strategic data sources and implement governance controls
• Design and implement data governance controls including data quality rules and reconciliation
• Prepare detailed requirement specifications containing calculations, data transformations and aggregation logic
• Perform functional testing and data validations
