Job summary

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, data governance, data risk, controls, or related fields.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives with clear ownership and follow‑through.
• Knowledge of data governance concepts: ownership, quality, lineage, metadata, controls, and issue management.
• Strong written and oral communication; can translate complex topics for executives.
• Experience applying risk‑based judgment and delivering governance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare executive materials for governance forums, committees, audits, regulators, and clients.
• Support Data Owner and in‑Business Chief Data Officer accountabilities.
• Develop MI reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and training metrics to track risk and performance.
• Maintain governance documentation, operating models, standards, and controls.
• Draft concise decision papers and presentations for senior stakeholders and external reviewers.
• Collaborate with business leaders to shape data strategy and ensure delivery discipline.
• Coordinate assurance activities, identify risks, and track remediation through closure.
• Promote responsible data use and AI‑enabled practices with proper human oversight.
• Own project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
