Job summary

The V Foundation is seeking a Vice President, Operations in Cary, NC to lead data strategy, IT governance, and facilities management. You will oversee data, cybersecurity, and analytics to enhance fundraising and organizational performance, while guiding a team of staff and stakeholders across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in network administration, information systems/CRM, data analytics, prospect research, or fundraising operations.
• Track record of building enterprise-wide systems and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficient understanding of integrating multiple software and data systems, business process mapping, and optimization to improve fundraising performance.
• Deep expertise in CRM platforms (Salesforce), cloud computing, and enterprise architecture.
• Significant experience leveraging AI and data analysis tools, and business intelligence platforms, to make data-driven decisions and optimize business processes.
• Proactive self-starter with strong planning, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to execute complex initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate data management insights clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year data management and Operations department plans across departments.
• Lead the development and adoption of AI capabilities and new technologies.
• Oversee delivery of projects, enhancements to systems, and new applications.
• Oversee Salesforce and data integrations to maximize fundraising impact.
• Provide strategic oversight of Gifts and Records Administration with accuracy and reporting.
• Oversee stakeholder research, BI reporting to inform gift solicitation cycles.
• Own and manage the Operations department’s budget and resource planning.
• Conduct annual trainings for staff on managed systems.
• Direct IT strategy, vendor management, and asset procurement.
• Ensure security, privacy compliance, and policy development.
• Oversee facilities operations, safety, and space planning.
