Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Data and AI Governance Product Lead, Vice President, within the Chief Data Office, to own end-to-end governance product lifecycles from discovery through delivery and adoption.

You will translate business needs into scalable capabilities to reduce risk and increase value, driving a clear roadmap and backlog while balancing controls and user outcomes.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in product management, data strategy, program management, consulting, or internal strategy within financial services.
• Ability to identify opportunities, set direction in ambiguous environments, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Advanced understanding of the product development lifecycle, including agile delivery, analytics, and operating model considerations.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end product lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, roadmap development, requirements, prioritization, and value measurement.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in data, computer science, business analytics, or engineering.
• Working knowledge of data and AI governance concepts and translating technical topics into practical product solutions.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
• High ownership and accountability with risk management and delivery completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of data and AI governance products.
• Own and refine a prioritized product backlog aligned to the roadmap.
• Prioritize high-impact features emphasizing automation and standardization.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to modernize governance processes.
• Drive execution from concept to delivery with clear requirements and planning.
• Represent stakeholder needs with transparent trade-offs across control and business outcomes.
• Manage multiple initiatives with milestones and delivery cadence.
• Embed governance-by-design controls, documentation, and auditability.
• Communicate complex topics to non-technical stakeholders and leaders.
• Monitor delivery health with status reporting and mitigation actions.
