Job summary

AV is seeking a senior executive to lead cybersecurity strategy and information security governance across the organization. The CISO will drive DoD compliance, CMMC readiness, RMF authorization, and cross‑border data protection while aligning security with growth and acquisition initiatives.

Reporting to the CIO, this role requires deep expertise in NIST frameworks, SAP/SAR controls, and global privacy regulations, and it will manage enterprise security operations and strategy at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred for senior leadership roles.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive information security experience, with at least 10 in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and national security requirements.
• Govern information security governance framework, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison with government customers, DCMA, DCSA, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide regular board and executive briefings on security posture and initiatives.
• Lead enterprise risk management activities related to cybersecurity and information protection.
• Oversee cybersecurity budget planning and investment prioritization.
• Lead CMMC readiness and certification efforts and RMF authorization processes.
• Coordinate with DIB cybersecurity programs and international data privacy requirements.
