Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Vice President of Customer Development & Growth to lead nationwide growth initiatives and energy efficiency programs within its multi-state footprint.

This executive role collaborates with operations, regulatory, finance, legal, and leadership to drive customer-centric strategies and sustainable value creation. You will oversee Enterprise Strategy, Market Analysis, and EE/CIP programs, build partnerships with developers and municipalities, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 12 years in customer development, business development, utility operations, or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years of leadership experience, including managing managers and multi-state programs.
• Experience with regulatory environments, stakeholder engagement, and executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise customer development, growth, and energy efficiency strategy.
• Translate priorities into actionable growth plans and performance metrics.
• Advise executives on market opportunities, regulatory considerations, risks, and investment priorities.
• Oversee multi-state Customer Development and EE/CIP teams and align with leadership.
• Represent Summit with regulators, policymakers, municipalities, and industry groups.
• Ensure growth initiatives balance safety, reliability, and cost objectives.
