Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Customer Development and Growth to lead enterprise customer growth, market development, and energy efficiency initiatives across its multi-state footprint.

This executive will guide teams spanning Customer Development and EE/CIP, partnering with Operations, Regulatory, Finance, Legal, and Government Affairs to advance growth and customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in customer development, business development, utility operations, or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years of leadership experience, including leading managers and multi-state programs.
• Experience in regulatory environments, stakeholder engagement, and executive-level presentations.
• Strong knowledge of natural gas utility operations and energy efficiency programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise customer development, growth, and energy efficiency strategy across multi-state footprint.
• Develop programs and initiatives to expand natural gas adoption and customer base.
• Represent Summit with regulators, policymakers, customers, and community stakeholders.
• Provide financial stewardship including budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
