Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Vice President for the Chase-360 Payment Analytics team to shape how consumer and small business credit risk is understood and managed at scale. You will turn payment and customer data into insights influencing lending strategy and risk decisions.

You will collaborate with Risk leadership to translate questions into analytics solutions, leveraging GenAI to deliver step-change improvements across the analytics lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in statistics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field, with 5+ years of risk management or quantitative experience; or a BS with 7+ years relevant experience.
• Deep expertise of the Consumer Financial Services industry.
• Strategic and commercial mindset with ability to frame ambiguous problems and define metrics.
• Deep expertise in Python and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across analytics projects.
• Ability to synthesize diverse information and develop actionable recommendations.
• Ability to manage and prioritize competing activities and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data analysis, modeling, data engineering, and project management to complete advanced analytics projects.
• Perform credit-focused analytics to identify, quantify, and monitor risks in consumers and small businesses.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for strategic decisions.
• Conduct independent research on emerging risks relevant to consumers and small businesses.
• Deliver executive-ready narratives and tradeoffs to senior leaders.
• Drive execution in a fast-paced environment and align stakeholders with the roadmap.
• Embrace GenAI-enabled innovation across the data science lifecycle to improve processes and risk monitoring.
• Stay current on industry trends, macroeconomics, tech advances, and best practices in risk analytics.
