Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Senior Asset Manager to independently manage construction and draw requests for a diverse CRE portfolio in Kansas. The role includes coordinating borrower consents, performing financial analysis, supervising junior staff, and ensuring timely, accurate deliverables to clients and lenders.

You will lead a team, mentor peers, and oversee asset management tasks, with focus on underwriting, treasury practices, and KPI monitoring to drive continuous improvements in service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance/accounting, or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 8+ years in industry with 2+ years in AVP-level role or external equivalent.
• Experience in CRE debt/equity asset management preferred.
• Proficiency with CRE principles including underwriting, loan servicing, and treasury practices.
• Proficiency with CRE calculations and concepts (IRR, NPV, DSCR, DY, NOI/NCF).
• Ability to model complex financial scenarios in Excel and build strategic client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage construction and reserve draw requests end-to-end for a diverse CRE loan portfolio.
• Process borrower consents, financial analysis, and ad hoc asset management duties.
• Oversee junior staff performing draw administration and asset management functions.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time while meeting controls and client service levels.
• Perform quality control on junior team members' work for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage client expectations and coordinate with lenders for process clarity.
• Mentor junior staff to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Review draw packages and communicate deficiencies to lenders.
