Job summary

Santander US seeks an Associate in Fund Finance Credit Portfolio Management within Corporate & Investment Banking. You will perform credit analysis, underwriting, and active portfolio management for fund finance transactions across private capital clients.

Reporting to the Head of Fund Finance Credit Portfolio Management, this role offers exposure to the full transaction lifecycle and opportunities to mentor junior staff while collaborating with Product, Legal, Risk, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a finance-related field and strong academic foundation in financial analysis.
• Exposure to alternative investments, private equity, or capital markets is a plus.
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and model financial scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Perform underwriting and structuring of fund finance transactions and supporting documentation.
• Independently manage a portfolio of fund finance transactions and monitor risk and covenant compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvement and regulatory readiness.
• Partner with Front Office, Risk, Legal, Operations, and senior management on credit decisions.
