State Street Corporation is seeking a senior technology leader to become Head of Corporate Functions Engineering – VP. You will build and scale a centralized engineering organization supporting HR, Legal, Audit, Security, Realty, and other corporate functions, delivering cloud-native, AI-enabled platforms at scale.

The role requires leading global teams, partnering with business stakeholders, and advancing engineering excellence across quality, automation, and production support.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering, delivery, or platform engineering experience.
• 8+ years leading large engineering teams.
• Hands-on with enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
• Proven leadership in development, enablement, testing, and production support.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, AI, data, DevOps, and quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy, and operating model for Corporate Functions Engineering.
• Lead engineering for custom application development across Corporate Functions.
• Build AI engineering capabilities and intelligent automation.
• Lead data engineering and platform enablement initiatives.
• Oversee quality engineering, test automation, and production support.
• Establish centers of excellence and SWAT teams for rapid delivery.
• Develop talent and foster a culture of accountability and engineering excellence.
