Job summary

Origin Staffing seeks a Vice President of Corporate Finance to lead the U.S. Corporate Finance organization, reporting to the U.S. Controller.

The role oversees accounting, reporting, finance operations, controls, and transformation across a global alternative investment platform. The VP will shape how Corporate Finance operates, develop teams, and drive technology, automation, and AI initiatives, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in Boston, 2 days remote).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA is required.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with leadership.
• Strong background in U.S. GAAP, consolidated financial reporting, and complex accounting.
• Experience in asset management, private equity, financial services, or similar environment preferred.
• Public accounting experience highly valued.
• Experience leading teams and driving finance transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the U.S. Controller to lead the day‑to‑day U.S. Corporate Finance organization.
• Oversee accounting and reporting across the management company, affiliates, and broker-dealer.
• Lead consolidated and standalone financial reporting, audits, covenant reporting, and external deliverables.
• Provide leadership across finance operations including AP, AR, expense allocations, invoicing, treasury, and payments.
• Develop and mentor finance leaders across onshore and offshore teams.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, FP&A, and other groups.
• Evaluate processes and controls, identify risks, and drive improvements.
• Lead transformation initiatives involving technology, automation, and AI.
