Perseus Group is seeking a VP, Corporate Development to architect and lead a 15+ person outbound origination engine, turning deal sourcing into a predictable revenue machine. You will drive funnel math, CRM discipline, and coaching across a multi-tier team to reach aggressive deployment goals.

This role offers remote or hybrid work options, with a focus on data-driven decision making and AI-enriched sequencing to scale outbound capacity and capital deployment targets for a software portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading high-performance sales teams at a software company or startup.
• Proven ability to hire, develop and retain A players.
• Expertise in sales tech stacks and CRM; fluent in funnel math.

Responsabilités

• Pipeline mechanics and rigor: move beyond networking to precise funnel math and targets.
• Operational leadership with daily activity scores and rigorous CRM management.
• Team coaching and inspection of multi-tier BD organization.
• AI and tech stack optimization for outbound capacity 2–3x.
• Market/Buy Box mastery and compliance with ICP for deals.
• Oversee trips and trade shows with NDA generation targets.
