Job summary

Amwins is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Development in Charlotte, NC. This executive will drive growth through strategic investments and acquisitions, leading research, strategy projects, and global deal execution for the executive leadership team.

The role oversees sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and post‑deal integration, with high visibility to senior management. A strong track record in M&A and deal execution is required.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of M&A experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a mix.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate, negotiate and close acquisitions.
• Experience leading end-to-end processes for business growth and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal sourcing and origination with banks, advisors, and industry contacts.
• Oversee due diligence processes and financial analysis for potential investments.
• Develop, review and refine financial models and valuation analyses (e.g., LBOs).
• Play a lead role in transaction execution, including negotiation and deal structuring.
• Collaborate with legal team to manage transaction documentation and approvals.
