Job summary

Social Capital Resources, a top-tier bank in Midtown Manhattan, seeks a VP Portfolio Manager to lead corporate credit oversight. You will monitor asset quality across industries, produce portfolio analyses, and partner with Relationship Managers to identify risks and mitigation strategies.

You will conduct analytics on credit performance, assess trends, and keep senior management informed with market updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or related field.
5+ years of experience in corporate credit analysis or portfolio management.
Excel modeling, PowerPoint and data mining/financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

Monitoring, analyzing and reporting the asset quality across industries within the Corporate Banking portfolio.
Produce periodic portfolio overview and analysis.
Conduct account portfolio monitoring, identify emerging risks, and provide risk analysis with Relationship Manager.
Conduct and monitor portfolio analytics to assess credit performance and trends across credit risk dimensions.
Identify early warning signs of risk and escalate as needed.
Monitor and maintain portfolio to adhere to credit policies and compliance requirements.
Discuss and propose risk mitigation strategies with Team Leaders and Relationship Managers.
Keep senior management abreast with latest economic and market updates.
