Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Corporate Accounting to lead our corporate accounting function and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. You will oversee monthly close, general ledger, reconciliations, AR, cash and rebill activities, and audits while partnering with Finance leadership and hotel teams.

Qualifications

• Significant progressive accounting experience, including leading an accounting function or team.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated experience managing the monthly close and supporting external audits.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Corporate Accounting function, establishing clear priorities, deadlines, performance expectations, and operating standards.
• Oversee the monthly close process, including journal entries, general ledger review, balance sheet reconciliations, and related financial reporting.
• Provide leadership across accounts receivable, billing, collections, cash application, and corporate and hotel rebill activities.
• Maintain effective internal controls, accounting documentation, and review processes that support accurate reporting and audit readiness.
• Coordinate accounting support for external audits and other financial information requests.
• Partner with Hotel Accounting, Payroll, Risk Management, Operations, and other departments to resolve accounting and reporting matters.
• Lead improvements to accounting systems and automation initiatives (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
• Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, strengthen controls, streamline processes, and reduce manual work.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing Corporate Accounting team.
