Arch Capital Group Ltd. in the United States seeks a senior Controller to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and controls for the Arch Insurance North America group. You will lead the accounting organization, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive automation and improvements across close and reporting cycles.

The role partners with CFO and senior finance leadership, translating complex transactions into accurate reporting and building a high-performing team capable of scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA certification preferred is strongly preferred for this role.
• Significant accounting and financial reporting experience with leadership in a complex organization.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes with accurate reporting.
• Maintain policies, procedures, and governance for accounting activities.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Accounts Payable and cross-functional partners.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and SOX governance.
