The role focuses on implementing and overseeing information walls and supporting compliance initiatives including market soundings and trade surveillance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of work experience at a major financial services firm in control room or conflicts management.
• Strong analytical and issue-spotting skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential transactions to determine names for restricted or watch lists.
• Communicate with legal/compliance groups and deal teams about watch/restricted lists.
• Identify potential conflicts and escalate to legal and business contacts.
• Analyze touchpoints with companies for conflicts of interest.
• Formulate recommendations to address conflicts of interest.
• Document analysis for clearing conflicts.
• Obtain deal updates from investment teams.
• Evaluate and manage wall-crossing requests.
• Review trade pre-clearances from public side businesses.
• Assist with personal trading pre-clearances as needed.
• Enhance systems for documenting conflicts checks and restricted/watch lists.
