Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Dallas seeks an experienced software engineer to partner with sponsors, users and engineering teams across divisions, delivering end-to-end solutions and applying AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity. You will work with Java and Python, follow SDLC practices, and contribute to automated testing and robust software delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Expertise in Java and/or Python development.
Experience with automated testing and SDLC concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication in meetings and on paper.

Responsibilities

Partner globally with sponsors, users and engineering colleagues to design end-to-end solutions.
Learn from experts and leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery.
Work with technologies including Java, Python, PySpark, SQL, Hadoop, Snowflake, Iceberg, Kafka, Kubernetes.
Apply analytical and functional skills to design surveillance processes to identify risks.
Be involved in the full life cycle: defining, designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software.
Be involved in real-time processing, messaging, workflow and UI/UX improvements.
