Job summary

ING Americas in New York seeks a Vice President to lead Compliance Frameworks & Control (CF&C) in the U.S. This role will advance the U.S. Compliance Risk Management Program across risk assessments, regulatory inventory, change management, governance, and control oversight.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in compliance, strong governance experience, and the ability to coordinate across Risk, Legal, Audit, and business stakeholders. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Audit, Regulatory Affairs, Governance, or related financial services functions.
• Strong knowledge with compliance governance practices, including risk assessments, control frameworks, regulatory change management, and remediation tracking.
• Experience maintaining regulatory inventories and mapping regulatory obligations to risks, controls, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and ongoing enhancement of the U.S. Compliance Risk Management Program by coordinating activities across the compliance risk management lifecycle.
• Monitor regulatory developments, supervisory guidance, enforcement actions, and industry trends; perform impact assessments and coordinate implementation with stakeholders.
• Maintain the U.S. Laws, Rules, and Regulations (LRRs) Inventory and related repositories for governance; map regulations to obligations, risks, controls, and policies.
• Coordinate and facilitate periodic Risk Assessments for Compliance (RAC) with Group Compliance and business stakeholders; document outputs and remediation.
• Prepare and coordinate compliance reporting for governance forums, senior management committees, and oversight bodies; develop dashboards and MI for reporting.
