Job summary

ING Americas seeks a Vice President to lead the Compliance Frameworks & Control team in NYC, driving the U.S. Compliance Risk Management Program and ensuring robust governance across the wholesale banking framework.

In collaboration with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Audit, you will assess, monitor, and report regulatory obligations, aligning U.S. activities with global standards within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Audit, Regulatory Affairs, Governance, or related financial services functions.
• Strong knowledge of compliance governance practices, including risk assessments, control frameworks, regulatory change management, and remediation tracking.
• Experience maintaining regulatory inventories and mapping regulatory obligations to risks, controls, policies, and procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Support the U.S. Compliance Risk Management Program enhancements by coordinating lifecycle activities, governance documentation, and risk reporting.
• Monitor regulatory developments, provide impact assessments, and track remediation milestones with stakeholders.
• Maintain the U.S. Laws, Rules, and Regulations Inventory and ensure proper mapping to obligations, risks, and controls.
• Coordinate periodic Risk Assessments for Compliance in partnership with relevant teams and business stakeholders.
• Prepare governance reporting materials, dashboards, and management information for senior leadership.
