Job summary

BHcare is seeking a visionary Vice President, Community Services to lead strategic direction, oversight, and program management across domestic violence services, housing, prevention, and wellness programs in Connecticut. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related behavioral health field.
• Connecticut independent clinical licensure required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a psychiatric, behavioral health, or substance use treatment setting.
• At least five years of progressive leadership overseeing multiple programs and management-level staff.
• Experience with budget management, operational planning, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Experience building and maintaining partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and system stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and program direction for BHcare's community service areas.
• Strengthen collaboration across behavioral health and community-based service programs.
• Lead primary care integration strategy through healthcare partnerships and expanded access to services.
• Identify opportunities for program growth, innovation, and grant-funded initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to directors and managers; foster accountability.
