We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President, Community Services to join our senior leadership team. This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of critical community programs, strengthen partnerships, and lead innovative solutions that improve the lives of individuals and families throughout Connecticut. This position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week. This position will travel across various sites. Candidates must reside in Connecticut to be eligible for this position.

What You Will Do:

As the Vice President, Community Services, you will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and program direction for BHcare's assigned community service areas, including domestic violence services, residential and housing programs, prevention services, recovery and wellness programs, and related community partnerships. You will strengthen collaboration across services, advance BHcare's primary care integration efforts, and support organizational priorities while ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, person-centered services

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee BHcare's assigned community service programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and mission.
• Strengthen collaboration across behavioral health and community-based service programs.
• Lead BHcare's primary care integration strategy through healthcare partnerships and expanded access to coordinated behavioral health and primary care services.
• Identify opportunities for program growth, innovation, and grant-funded initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to program directors and managers while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, operational planning, staffing models, and resource allocation.
• Monitor service utilization, access, outcomes, and quality metrics and develop data-informed recommendations to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all licensure, accreditation, contractual, regulatory, and funding requirements.
• Represent BHcare in community collaborations, stakeholder meetings, and strategic partnerships.
• Evaluate emerging community needs and identify opportunities to enhance services and access to care.
• Support grant development, implementation, and sustainability efforts Lead talent development initiatives, including hiring, performance management, and professional growth of staff.

What You Will Bring:

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work or a related behavioral health field.
• Connecticut independent clinical licensure or equivalent professional licensure required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a psychiatric, behavioral health, or substance use treatment setting.
• At least five years of progressive leadership experience overseeing multiple programs, service lines, and management-level staff.
• Demonstrated experience with budget management, operational planning, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Experience building and maintaining partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and system stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

What We Offer

The anticipated salary range for this position is $155,000-$175,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, and internal equity considerations.
