Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for full-time VP Commercial Relationship Manager. This position will be located in our Jeffersonville office and will cover the Commercial Southern Indiana Region. This position is responsible for overseeing the management and operation of various functions of the Business Services/Commercial designated region. This position is responsible for the growth of commercial loans, deposits, and Treasury Management products and services, as well as oversight of Centra’s Member Business Lending (MBL) policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining active engagement in the Communities Centra serves through local board and committee membership and participation in community events/outreach. Manages to Centra’s stated strategic objectives and business plan goals, helping lead Business Services team to do the same.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.

  1. Maintains and builds relationships with businesses, community leaders, and Centra Team Members through active participation in business development activities, striving for best-in-class Member Experience to facilitate retention and growth.
  2. Screens and interviews applicants to determine financial needs and creditworthiness. Analyzes information received at interview and develops appropriate structure and terms to obtain approval or denies credit requests within approved lending limits. Prepares credit approval memos for presentation to appropriate approving authority, working in conjunction with Portfolio Manager and/or Credit Analyst.
  3. Monitors a commercial loan portfolio through the collection of financial reports, Member communication, and compliance.
  4. Maintains an active role in various committees and projects as assigned.
  5. Recommends new products and services to promote growth of the department and the Credit Union, working collaboratively with other Centra Line of business leaders and producers.
  6. Participates in community relations and activities to increase the Credit Union’s visibility, involvement, and impact.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Related Field
  2. Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
