DFCU Financial is seeking a VP, Commercial Loan Officer to drive new deposits and loans in the Longwood/Winter Park/Orlando area. You will manage an existing portfolio, underwrite credit, and deliver tailored solutions to commercial clients.

Qualifications

• Seven years lending or sales experience in the financial services industry.
• Three–five years commercial lending and credit underwriting experience.
• Demonstrated high performance in sales goal attainment.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365.

Responsabilités

• Proactively identify and develop new business banking relationships with a focus on deposit and lending growth.
• Grow and manage a portfolio of commercial clients, delivering tailored financial guidance and creative lending solutions.
• Connect clients with a full suite of business banking services including lending, deposits, Treasury Management, and SBA programs to help their businesses thrive.
• Build strong partnerships with business owners, centers of influence, and professional networks to generate referrals and drive meaningful growth.
• Represent DFCU in the community and make a real and lasting impact by helping local businesses succeed.
• Analyze and underwrite credit requests in accordance with DFCU's policies and risk appetite, structuring thoughtful and strategic solutions.
• Monitor loan covenants, past due accounts, and renewal timelines to ensure portfolio health and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate closely with internal partners—including Business Banking Assistants and Loan Documentation teams—to streamline processing and deliver exceptional client experience.
• Work cross-functionally with Retail, Treasury, and Lending teams to deliver value through joint calling efforts and holistic financial solutions.
• Prepare detailed call plans and post-call reviews that translate client goals into actionable next steps.
• Stay informed on market trends, industry shifts, and client opportunities to remain a trusted advisor and thought partner.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, credit standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete all required professional development and compliance training to support continuous growth.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.
• Seven years lending or sales experience in the financial services industry.
• Three - five years commercial lending and credit underwriting experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365.
