Job summary

Associated Insurance and Risk Management Advisors is seeking a Vice President, Team Lead for the Commercial Lines group in Cincinnati. You will manage a mid-to-large book and lead a team of Account Managers and CSRs, serving as the primary client contact.

A minimum of 10+ years in Commercial Lines as a Senior Account Manager or Account Executive is required. The role emphasizes strategic client service, portfolio management, and team leadership with opportunities to drive growth and cross-sell.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Commercial Lines in senior roles.
• Experience as Senior Account Manager or Account Executive.
• Middle Market experience required.
• Contract and lease review experience.
• Resident P&C Producer License.

Responsibilities

• Market new business and renewals for clients and document accordingly.
• Understand clients' objectives and compare plans for suitability.
• Liaise with clients to meet requirements and attend review meetings.
• Coordinate renewals with producers, ARs, and CSRs; prepare applications and proposals.
• Attend meetings in person or remote to assist producers in closing opportunities.
• Document conversations with clients and carriers in management systems.
• Serve as liaison between clients and carriers to resolve service issues.
• Develop new business from existing accounts and follow cross-sell opportunities.
• Supervise team to ensure SLAs are met.
• Mentor account managers and CSRs; identify training needs.
• Collaborate on process standards and capacity reviews.
• Manage own book of business and oversee others' books.
