Qualifications

• Solid understanding of commercial credit, underwriting, and loan structuring.
• Established network and/or demonstrated ability to generate new relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Community or regional banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial banking relationships with an emphasis on C&I lending.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, centers of influence, and community involvement.
• Structure and negotiate commercial credit facilities based on client needs and risk considerations.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and overall creditworthiness.
• Prepare and present credit requests for approval.
• Manage existing relationships and proactively identify additional banking needs.
• Partner with treasury management and other areas of the bank to deepen relationships.
• Maintain strong portfolio quality and proactively manage credit risk.
