Job summary

Think Bank is seeking an experienced Vice President of Commercial Credit to lead our Commercial Credit team and help shape the future of our commercial lending portfolio.

This leadership role oversees commercial underwriting, credit administration, and portfolio risk management while partnering closely with lending and senior leadership to influence credit strategy, support business growth, maintain portfolio quality, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Ten years of banking, commercial lending, credit administration, or related financial services experience.
• Seven years of progressive commercial credit underwriting and portfolio management experience.
• Five years of experience managing and developing teams.
• Line experience as commercial lender preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Develop the Commercial Credit Team: Leadership, coaching, and performance management for the Commercial Credit team, including Credit Analysts and Commercial Credit Support Specialists.
• Foster employee development through training, mentoring, and individualized growth plans.
• Clearly communicate performance expectations to staff and hold them accountable to expectations.
• Ensure workloads are effectively managed and departmental objectives are met.
