Netsmart is seeking a Vice President of Engineering – Cloud, DevOps & AI Modernization to lead modern software platforms and cloud initiatives in Overland Park, KS. This senior leader will drive modernization, DevOps maturity, and AI-enabled product evolution across global teams.

The role requires credibility in software development, cloud experience, and effective culture leadership, with onsite work in the Greater Kansas City area.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leadership experience at the VP/Director level leading software teams at scale.

• Experience guiding modernization, cloud adoption, and platform transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale high-performing software engineering teams with accountability and delivery discipline.
• Drive cloud, DevOps maturity, and AI-aware modernization across platforms.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Security, Data, and global teams in a matrixed organization.
• Balance legacy systems with future-state modernization while ensuring security and reliability.
