Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Vice President of Clinical Operations to lead strategic development and continuous improvement of clinical programs within value-based care. You will optimize pre-hospitalization interventions and post-acute transitions to improve outcomes and manage costs.

In this role, you will supervise a large, multidisciplinary team, drive performance against CMS/HEDIS/STAR metrics, and partner with providers to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across regions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in care management, population health, or clinical operations.
• Deep understanding of Medicare Advantage, TCM, STARS, HEDIS, and risk adjustment.
• Proven track record deploying scalable clinical programs that improve outcomes and reduce cost.
• Experience integrating analytics and technology into care management and EHR modules.
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field; RN/NP/PA/MD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee strategic clinical programs that improve outcomes and manage medical cost.
• Design and scale transitional care management programs for high-risk patients.
• Lead cross-functional teams across clinical operations, population health, risk adjustment, and quality.
• Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for continuous quality improvement.
• Collaborate with providers and vendors to optimize program performance.
