Job summary

Pathstone is seeking a Vice President, Client Advisory in New York City to cultivate the next generation of business development and advisory leaders. You will originate new client relationships, grow an advisory practice, and become a trusted advisor to ultra-high-net-worth families and institutions.

You’ll gain exposure to the full client lifecycle from prospecting to investment implementation and ongoing relationship management, with a structured training program starting in late summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Series 65 within 90 days is required.
• MBA/JD or equivalent degree preferred.
• CFA/CFP certification or meaningful progress valued.
• 4+ years of experience in finance with client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand a referral network to grow Pathstone’s client base.
• Pitch new potential clients and opportunities; partner on strategy and proposals.
• Manage multiple client relationships with a focus on trusted advisory leadership.
• Prepare performance analyses and client presentation materials.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to office improvements.
