Job summary

Pathstone is seeking a Vice President, Client Advisory to cultivate the next generation of advisory leaders who originate new client relationships and grow an integrated wealth-management practice. The program offers cohort-based training beginning in late summer 2027 in Pathstone’s New York City office, exposing participants to investment research, financial planning, and relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Series 65 within 90 days of employment.
• MBA, JD or other equivalent degree preferred by start date.
• CFA and/or CFP certification strongly valued.
• 4+ years of experience in the finance industry with demonstrated client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth opportunities in local markets and expand client base.
• Manage multiple client relationships and serve as trusted advisor.
• Construct investment portfolios and IPS for clients.
• Oversee portfolio construction and rebalancing.
• Collaborate with clients on spending, tax planning, estate planning.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements.
