Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with Master's preferred in finance, business or related field or equivalent.
• Typically a minimum of 10 years claims experience, with five years management experience.
• Experience leading leaders strongly preferred.
• Applicable certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements strategic and operational objectives with substantial impact on recovery claims operations and drives for superior results.
• Leads, directs and has full management accountability for staff in area of responsibility with emphasis on talent optimization and succession planning.
• Manages enterprise-wide planning, organizing and leading of all recovery claim programs, metrics, processes, results and initiatives.
• Analyzes and manages workflow and staffing to drive increased efficiency and productivity; liaises with senior management.
• Technical oversight of high exposure recovery claims to ensure timely investigation, evaluation and management.
• Drives continuous improvement within scope of responsibility and identifies emerging issues through analysis and technology resources.
• Reports on recovery trends and exposures to internal and external partners.
• Coordinates with underwriting, legal, staff counsel, and actuarial to share knowledge on market trends and loss recovery opportunities.
