Job summary
WSP USA is seeking a Vice President, Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead transportation projects in Southern California, with flexibility to base from any California office. You will oversee the Civil Engineering Transportation team, mentor staff, and manage contracts to deliver high-quality PS&E documents and related reports.
The role emphasizes strong leadership, client engagement, and cross-office collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
- Engineer license (California preferred).
- 12+ years of post-education experience in civil engineering and infrastructure design.
- Ability to lead and grow civil engineering business.
- Experience as PM, deputy PM, construction management, or task lead.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of roadway and transportation projects for local agencies in Southern California.
- Lead key projects as Contract Manager or Project Manager.
- Participate in contract negotiations and risk management.
- Guide staff and oversee project financial performance and QA/QC.
- Ensure quality deliverables including PS&E documents and reports.
- Occasional travel may be required.
