Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to grow our Northeast Civil Transportation team in the New York City office. You will lead the design of NYC-based site civil transportation projects, guide data collection and analysis, and coordinate with owners, agencies, and sub-consultants to deliver robust infrastructure solutions.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, a professional engineer license, and proficiency with Civil 3D/OpenRoads.

• Lead and contribute to the design of NYC-based site civil transportation projects (Highway/Urban Street Design, Transit Infrastructure).
• Provide guidance with data collection and analysis from surveys, maps, and other sources for project development and construction.
• Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates with coordination across teams and agencies.
• Oversee cross-functional teams and manage budgets, hours, and resources.
