Job summary

Blue Star Families seeks a Vice President, Chapter Development & Peer-to-Peer Fundraising to lead nationwide fundraising initiatives. You will develop scalable peer-to-peer programs, coach chapters, and align with national campaigns while traveling to chapters several times a year.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will oversee the Development team and mentor leadership, with a focus on growing contributed revenue and donor engagement across a national network.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive nonprofit development experience, including chapter-based or peer-to-peer fundraising.
• 5+ years of experience managing staff or leading a team.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and participation goals.
• Ability to travel to chapters and gatherings several times per year, including overnight.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a fundraising expert and strategic consultant to the chapter network.
• Lead and scale chapter fundraising support and peer-to-peer programs.
• Partner with leadership to set network revenue goals and benchmarks.
• Develop tools, playbooks, and training for volunteers and chapter leaders.
• Coordinate with Marketing to create assets and donor materials.
